Race for the Cure

This is a very worthy cause, I never gave it much consideration because I personally have not known anyone with cancer but my work was having a promotion for this cause so I registered myself and Ryan's sister, Heidy for the 5k walk/run on Saturday May 8th. It started and ended at the Gateway. I have never done a charity walk before and I didn't realize how many people are affected by this disease. It was really emotional to see people wearing shirts with photos of loved ones that have passed away, but inspiring to see survivors at the same time. We are talking about doing it again next year, only running. I had a great experience!
