2010 - So Far

It seems like all I am doing with this blog is catching up on the past. I have been so incredibly busy and my blog has suffered. I'm not giving a sob story because I am very happy to be so busy. After much thought and a lot of consulting with family and friends I've decided to really try and get my photography thing going. I have my website up and running! (amandakaymemories.com) I can't believe I have a website! I never thought that little ol' me might have something I am good at. In school I never really was passionate about anything extra curricular and just floated by. I've always loved pictures (who doesn't?) but then it just clicked, (really no pun intended) and I had a passion. I love looking, taking, editing, anything to do with photography. I look at other artists work and dream one day I can be that good. I'm excited to start slow and hope that I can continue to grow and learn all that I can about photography.
I want to thank all of my family and friends that have been supportive. I am sure you are all tired of hearing about this, but I can never say thank you enough.

What else has been going on since the New Year? Keaton had his 12th birthday on Jan.7th. He is growing up so fast! He is such a good kid, very mature and so smart.
He wanted an electric guitar so his mom took him to pick one out. He looks fantastic with it! He is taking lessons and I can't wait to see him jam with my dad!

...and his new guitar

My sister in law Gina was here while my brother Justin was out to sea with the Navy. It was nice to have her in Utah for two months, but of course I wasn't able to spend as much time with her as I wanted. But we were able to see them for Christmas and Gina asked me to take her kids pictures. That was so fun. It was cold but the kids did great! My nephew Justin Jr. had his first birthday party right before they left home for Washington. By the time he finished his cake, he was a mess! But I think he looks fantastic covered in cake!

That's about it for now, we hope everyone is having a great start to their new year!
Love you all!
