We thought waking up at 330 am on Saturday morning was a good idea!?! Thank goodness for coffee and hot chocolate. Harvick was happy zipped up inside my hoodie...look close.
Nolan didn't mind at all.
Keaton and Lilah, best paws!
Even dad is happy...amazing he's usually not a morning person.

Finally the sun came up and it was back to work looking for firewood
Exploring a tee-pee right by our site.
Priceless Memories!

July 3rd - we like to start early!

Everyone is out enjoying the wonderful show that Utah fireworks brings! It was nice having Mel's Dad, Step Mom and sisters with us to celebrate:)

Brad approves of his son Jordan hanging out with Nolan. See Mel cooks! And that makes Jordan happy!

Winding down the night by the fire with smores. Yummy:)

Where the Wild Things Are...

We wanted to take the kids hiking to Timpanogos Cave for the 4th of July but all the tours were booked out. We decided to make the most of it and take our own tour of American Fork Canyon. Keaton wanted to "climb the mountain", Nolan wanted to "hike straight up the mountain", and Tevin asked if we were on a "real mountain". It was spectacular! Who would have thought Ryan and I would be the ones complaining at the end of the day?!?

Ladykillers!!! Can you belive Nolan wouldn't smile right up to the second this picutre was taken!
The water looked good enough to jump in, and Tevin did!

Look out! Keaton's hungry.

The outdoors makes you loose your mind!

I promise we do get along!!!

When it rains, it pours - out your water heater...

Thank goodness Ryan knows his way with tools and patience! On the bright side, we have a bigger, more efficent water heater! Yay!

Shower for the Girls - Shooting for the Boys

Saturday June 27th not only brought warm, sunny weather, it was also my future Sister In Law's bridal shower. We had alot of fun. While we were doing that, Ryan took the boys with his friend Steve out by Horseshoe Springs for target shooting and apparently lizard hunting (the pictures were to gross to post).

FIELD TRIP!!!!

Nolan's grade had a field trip to Hogle Zoo on Monday June 1st. Ryan and I took the day off work to meet him up there and spend the morning with him and a few kids in his class. We had so much fun. I wish I could go the zoo everyday!
Nolan wanted to get pictures of everything! It was so much fun to see him have a good time and just relax with us.
Look at the teeth on that Tiger!

These are kids in Nolan's class, Daniel and Josh. Ryan was teaching them about the elephant bones.
