We had to dig up some of my strawberry plants. They were taking over our garden and I must say, I have not received the crop I hoped for. My ultimate goal is homemade strawberry jam. I've tried for three years and finally I broke down and had to rip some of the plants up. I am not giving up though. I will make homemade jam even if it's 10 years from now!

And do you remember the Tabasco pepper plant we had kept from last summer? I thought we lost it with the surprise snow storm in May but it survived and it grew so big! I am going to bring it in again this winter plant it next summer.
