Family Night Out

Rocky Mountain Raceway sent out free tickets so we took advantage of it. Shannon gave us hers so we only had to pay $5 for one child ticket. That was a fabulous deal! It was such a fun night, Keaton and Tevin had never been and they loved it. Right before they sang the National Anthem, it started pouring on us. It rained hard for 15 minutes and we were soaked, but it was warm enough we dried quick and once the track was dried off it was time for racing. I love taking the kids to something that I enjoyed when I was younger with my mom and dad. I hope it's something that they will enjoy and maybe take their kids to see one day.

So I thought working Keaton's camera would be a no brainer. Nolan's expression is the best part.

Lets Go RACIN' Boys!

Nolan's car is the one with the Patriotic theme - perfect for Memorial Weekend! He was the only driver to have a car painted like that. He won most colorful car!!! Go Nolan, we are so proud! Keaton was able to race one of the Scout Leader's cars and shared it with Tevin for a one race.

It was a fun morning...although half of it was spent getting a lecture from the guy who owned the track. He shared with us how much the track was, all the rules associated with the track, the fines for not following the rules, how many races he does a year and on and on....I am surprised he let us race.

Bend it like Nolan!

Nolan is turning into quite the soccer player! This is his second year and he is getting better all the time!!!

Mother's Day 2009

This day was wonderful! Mom and Dad were here from California, Brad and his family came over, Aunt Cathy and Uncle Loron came down and the boys came with their Mom Shannon as well. What a beautiful day, we all enjoyed just hanging out! Mom's are the BEST!
